Footprints, puke and bloody kids! Welcome...

Good morning.

It's Friday and I feel full of beans! Reason? Well, the weekend lies lurking in the shadows of a four period day. Yes I am a school teacher and the first week is nearly over. Thank the lord!
Tomorrow, my friend and I are supposed to be going to Blackpool on a stag do and despite initial feelings of excitement, we are looking at ways of how to get out of it now. Any thoughts, should we go to blackpool? It is supposed to be a 'proper laugh' if hen do's, binge drinking and general debauchery are your thing. However, at the ripe old age of 28, I feel a bit nauseated by the thought of the sticky floors, plastic drinking vessels, puke and pandemonium.
Hmm...what to do...

Anyway the real reason for this blog is to keep the faithful updated on various events in my life as I try (rather sluggishly) to become cough...a writer...ahem. This is not an easy thing to do even though I have done the hard part and actually written a bloody book! The problem is I am a bit of a wuss and have not had anyone read it except my faithful other half. The book is called Footprints and it is adult fiction in nature. If I manage to grow a pair, in the not too distant future I will get it published. It's a bit raw and rough around the edges, but am I. It is currently with an 'agent' who appears to do very little except...well I don't know all day..?

Despite this my dear old mother told me, 'I should just be proud of writing a book, let alone how good it is.' Cunning old girl...I know she is just trying to get her hands on it, to read the juicy gossip! Only joking, love ya ma :-)

I have written two lots of poems also.

Having watched a programme called The love of money I have had an idea about writing a book called 'the carnival that ate the world.' I love the sound of that and have an idea that could metamorphosise itself into the second novel or at least a short story.

Anyway, that's all for now folks. The English are waiting and I don't know what to do...
